The Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) is launching a new magazine to update its members and the wider fire, design, and construction sectors with news of ASFP activities, and to report and comment on issues affecting the passive fire protection industry.

Ignite

The new magazine, Ignite, will be produced three times each year. With the first edition scheduled for publication in November/December, it will also be distributed at the Association’s Awards Lunch on the 26th of November. The edition will include full details of the shortlisted Awards nominees, as well as a round-up of industry news, training and technical updates, and event reviews.

Each issue will also feature member spotlights, which highlight key products and/or services supplied by ASFP members. The magazine will be distributed electronically to the ASFP’s thousands of e-bulletin subscribers, while some 800 member contacts will also receive a printed hard copy.

Announcing the new magazine, ASFP CEO Steve Davies says, “The ASFP is always looking for new ways to reach out to its members and others who are interested in receiving news about the passive fire protection sector. This new magazine will allow us to showcase the professional services the Association offers, while also highlighting the skills and dedication of our members."

We hope the magazine will serve to ‘Ignite’ greater interest and understanding of the passive fire protection sector and that it will broaden our reach and voice throughout the fire, design, and construction supply chain."
