The general construction market has experienced significant challenges during the global economic downturn.
As a result, and in order to continue delivering the high-quality service customers in the North West have grown to expect, a decision was made to restructure the business.
Strategic Acquisition Update
The focus shifted to specialist installation services, including Fire Alarms, CCTV
The company ceased trading out of its Bunhill Row office in May and sought new commercial partners to invest in the North West, aiming to enhance service and maintenance capacity. The focus shifted to specialist installation services, including Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Nurse Call Systems, and Data Cabling.
A new company structure has been developed to strengthen the company’s reputation in the region and maintain the excellent business experience customers have come to expect.
In this regard, it is with pleasure that it is announced Mango-5 Maintenance Limited has acquired 100% of the shares of McGoff & Vickers Ltd, along with the trading name, assets, and contracts of both McGoff & Vickers and Speci-Fire. This partnership will secure jobs in the region and promote excellence in training and customer service for years to come.
Ongoing Partnership Commitment
Key staff members looking after the business will remain largely unchanged, with plans to enhance the workforce in the coming weeks to ensure continued achievement of targets and key performance indicators, while the now-specialist company grows.
Any questions regarding the new company structure and how it will affect customers and the service provided should be directed to the usual contact or the office (same number as always), where Gary Heyes from McGoff & Vickers (Fire & Security Systems) or Dave Hughes from Speci-Fire will be available to address any concerns.
The company thanks customers for their patience during the transition period and looks forward to a continued and successful partnership in the future.
